I often wondered how the atrocities in Nazi Germany occurred. I now have a better (and more depressing) view of human nature.
Mary Sisak, random Youtube comment.
I recently attended my fifth local church in the last three years. I have to admit I no longer get along well with most churches since COnVID exposed modern Christianity's rotten and idolatrous core. I was attending a Presbyterian church when the ‘pandemic’ propaganda apparatus cranked into full gear in early 2020. The Presbyterians did not need to be told how to display instantaneous, unquestioning obedience to anything the State demanded. I protested vehemently against church lockdowns and vaccination requirements for attendance, however temporary they ended up being. I was completely disregarded; obedience to the propaganda apparatus reigned supreme: the church would be locked down because the Government said so (in violation of Hebrews 10:24-25 - meet together all the more as you see “The Day” drawing near) and reopened for the vaccinated because the Government said so (in violation of James 2:1-13 - Christians must be impartial). I left in reprehensible disgust and have never returned there.
I have been to five other churches since then: two Baptist union, one Baptist independent, one Anglican and one home church. One of the Baptist union churches, Castle Hill Baptist on Showground Rd, suffered a massive church split because the leadership team utterly refused to discriminate (show partiality) on the grounds of the vaccination passports demanded for social inclusion by the NSW State Government between August 2021 and January 2022. It cost them severely: a significant contingent of idolatrous State-worshippers departed the church because they remained closed, in compliance with State mandates, until everyone could attend. Yes, these are the kinds of things that happened in a few Australian churches who dissented from the popular view that the world should be reopened only to those people who complied with the most insane ideological-conformist brainwashing campaign that has been foistered on the human race to date. I commend Castle Hill for their stance, although they could have gone further by finding ways to continue church meetings in secret in ways that would not have intentionally provoked the ire of the Beast known as the New South Wales State Government. This is what devoted Christians have done since the times of the 1st century catacomb churches, born of necessity amidst heated, State-sponsored persecution. That mindset is now mostly lost from 21st century Christianity.
The home church in Cheltenham was the best: the family that hosts the group has 9 wonderful children and exploited the fact that “family members of the same household” were exempt from lockdown ‘number’ requirements, meaning they could host 16-21 people to sing and study the Scriptures, all the while unmasked. They also vehemently rejected administrating the worst vaccine of all time to themselves or their children (although a couple of their adult kids went ahead on their own uninformed volition). This was a family that is unflinching in their conviction that service to Christ and his kingdom must reign supreme over whatever nonsensical jibberish was being uttered by the ‘powers-that-be’ of the day.
My most recent attendance was a new Anglican church plant in Newington, very close to my home in Sydney’s Olympic Park precinct. The sermon that day was on “Crisis of Faith”, and the preacher (I think his name was Ben) laboured from the 7th chapter of Luke’s gospel about how Jesus sought to resolve John the Baptist’s crisis of faith. John, who had been imprisoned for his invective preaching against the wanton waywardness of the Jewish people and their leaders, sent messengers to ask Jesus, “Are you the One we were expecting, or shall we keep waiting for another?” Jesus responded with deeds first, then carefully-chosen implicit words:
In that hour he healed many people of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many who were blind he bestowed sight. And he answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” (Luke 7:21-23)
I couldn’t help but feel that the preacher missed a significant opportunity to discuss the crisis of faith occurring in Australian, indeed, worldwide, churches at this very hour. It is as if 21st century mainline churches have not not even noticed what has happened around them for the last 3 years.
I’m not going to beat around the bush with this one. I am utterly disgusted by 21st century Christianity. I do not know what this pathetic, institutionalised, self-serving, idolatrous government-worshipping excuse for a religion even is any more. There are still many people like me who feel so utterly dismayed at the way Christianity on a virtually global scale capitulated so quickly and so easily to the “power, signs and wonders serving the lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). It’s almost as if the entire edifice of 21st century Christianity is a fake, infiltrated replica whose sole purpose in the world is to worship the State.
What is this grotesque abomination Christianity has become? When did the brotherly love disappear, replaced by trite and artificial tokenism and woke philandering? I hear pastors praying love and peace for Ukraine but lips are silent in prayers for our government-appointed “Russian enemies.” Not once have I heard any Christian minister pray for the civilians living in Donetsk or Lughansk, having endured 9 years of endless artillery bombardment: 8 years from the Ukrainian military and Ukrainian neo-Nazi paramilitary regiments, and one additional year from Russia as ‘friendly’ fire as the war machine cranked slowly into gear. One might think that Christians would want to talk about that kind of injustice, but no, lips are sealed. It is forbidden to love our enemies in 21st century Christianity, or even disagree with the enemies chosen for us by the global satanic politics and subsequent media propagandisation. If the Government calls for the proverbial 8 minutes of hate against enemy X (and this changes every decade, it was Islamic extremism before, before that Communism, be it Russian, Viet, Chinese, Cuban - where has all that gone?), Christianity must kneel at the gun's altar and hoot and howl with the chorus of neo-Nazi Banderite voices shouting down the Russian bear as it yawns and scratches its hairy armpits.
Christianity once claimed to be the bastion of truth in the world, for it laid claim on He who is “The Truth” embodied. Nowadays, however, truth continues to endure its voiceless lockdown as the media spits out their unending poisonous venom in its place, an addictive, synthetic substitute for ‘truth’, ticked and approved by governments and fact-checkers the world over. What we have for ‘truth’ nowadays is lies about a pandemic, lies about ‘cases’, lies about a savior vaccine, lies about ‘safe and effective’, lies about ‘climate change’. In another less mass propagandised era, perhaps Christianity would have been far less susceptible to the endless barrage of daily falsehoods, reality- and consent-manufacuring, and undeterred mind-control manipulations. Or perhaps they would have been just like our 21st century Christianity, utterly weak and feeble, eagerly devouring the Voice of the Beast, shirking the prospect of suffering in exchange for the comforts of state obeisance, whilst simultaneously discriminating openly against their dissenting fellows. After all, human nature never changes outside an act of divine grace, does it?
In private correspondence with Dutch mythologist and friend, Marinus “Rens” van der Sluijs, he had this to say about the religion of the 21st century:
you might argue that it's a religion of the salvific type, with 'the virus' standing in for 'sin', and testing, distancing, taking vaccines, masking etc. the sacraments required for salvation, with pride of place to the 'mRNA shot' as the host. The pharma bosses and 'top doctors' (Fauci) are the gods, 'the science' is the divine law, the doctors are the priests in their white coats, the ones who continue to 'stay home' are the monks and nuns, the 'antivaxxers' and mask-resisters the 'heretics', the media propaganda the 'sermons', bringing the vaccines to places like Africa 'missionary work', and so on. Lots of fun. What, though, is their holy book? The WEF script perhaps?
alleged successes of vaccines in past pandemics as the 'mythology', as well as the clapping for the nurses and the Tiktok dances as further rituals. I also realised that masks, elbow greetings, hand-cleaning liquids and distancing are more like behavioural codes while the sacraments proper are only the testing and the jabs. The masks and jabs are fetishes as their only medical effects are placebo. Abstinence from anything granting pleasure is highly recommended. There are dietary taboos including ivermectine, vitamine D and hydroxychloroquine.
Sacred chants include mantras like 'we do it for each other', 'we do it for granny', 'we're all in it together', 'it would have been worse without the shots', 'flattening the curve' and 'just two more weeks'. The 'two more weeks' are also reminiscent of the 'imminent coming' in bona fide religions. The 'new normal' starts the new Common Era. And then there are annual holidays such as the anniversary of when the 'pandemic' was proclaimed and a commemoration of the Covid dead. The symbol (cross, crescent, David's star) is obviously a stylised syringe. Martyrs are seen in the 'breakthrough cases' whose shots killed them. It's a bonanza (though of course there are a few inconsistencies here and there).
It astounds me that secular folk understand these things better than the 21st century Church does.
Yes, I am having a crisis of faith. Not in my Lord, nor in the Living God, that blessed fountainhead of all that WAS, IS and WILL BE. He told us in advance that these things would take place; that He would return in an age of utter deception (e.g. Matt. 24:3-4). No, my crisis of faith is not in the apparent silence of God, nor His presumed inactivity in this time of insurmountable wickedness.
I have lost faith in the facade, that decrepit and derelict hulk drifting on the vast sea of popular opinion, battered and tossed about by every wind of propaganda, lies and deceptions. I have lost faith in the assumption of benevolence, that Government, Church and Industry work together to promote good outcomes for We the People. I have lost faith in the spokespeople, those Voices of the Beast, you who threatened “no man may buy or sell except he have the jab”. I have lost faith in “The Scientism,” the world religion of our age, and it’s white-coated prophets and priests hurling fake catastrophe after catastrophe at us, all the while Government, Church and Industry gleefully rub their hands together at the new financial windfall at our expense. I have lost faith in the ability of “We the People” to actually repent in earnest - we have been slumbering for more than a century - and take a stand against the forces of wickedness and suffer enormously for doing so, no. I no longer believe in any of those things.
I am having a crisis of faith of the best kind. All that is corrupt, all that is false, all that is banal, all that is useless, all that is wicked, all that is perverse - all the things that I used to believe have been stripped away, like Jerusalem of old burning with Babylonian or Roman fire, and my mind has now been carried off to exile. And there, in that prison of solitude and self-reflection, I find all that remains is the pure gold of earnest thought, refined in that fire of crisis; molten silver gleaming hot, no longer embossed on a temple of wickedness; copper freed of the corruption of being welded to an incurably diseased system of reprehensible evil. Everything useless has been stripped away. At last, I am truly free.
Personally, I find government, military, church hierarchies, all control systems over the people. I liked church when young as I enjoyed the singing, choir, organ music, etc. but not the hell-fire sermons. People should be ethical and moral for its own sake, not because of fear of eternal damnation.
"It’s almost as if the entire edifice of 21st century Christianity is a fake, infiltrated replica whose sole purpose in the world is to worship the State." That makes me think of how, in the US, there has been such a focus on "separation of church and state," primarily from the viewpoint that the church should not be involved with affairs of the state: should not profit from tax-exempt status, should not attempt to influence "state" decisions by supposedly democratically elected leaders, on issues ranging from abortion to welfare to military spending.... yet there is hardly ever any discourse on how the state should not be involved with affairs of the church!!! For example by banning meetings, instituting mandates, etc. The one ray of hope/exception has been the ability in the US (on paper at least) to apply for religious exemption to employer-sponsored vax mandates: anything similar in other countries?
