An Ode to Australia's Love of Slavery
The time had drawn near,
The Aussies have voted.
Lockdowns abounded,
Two years of COVID.
Quarantine prisons,
For those who had travelled.
Vaccines or else;
That's how it unravelled.
Doctors lips silenced,
"No adverse reactions!"
AHRPRA's word reigns,
Or your licence cancelled.
Missing my workmates,
They all got "COVID."
But I'm the disease,
Cuz I'm unvaccinated.
Freedom paraded,
Bright yellow and orange,
Or just a charade,
A psych operation.
Red banner now flying,
teal-green at the trim.
Coal fires gunna quiet,
No gas on a whim.
Freedom aforetime,
dark skin and red sun,
Land done and stolen,
The flood then begun.
Civilisation a-building,
Dig holes and point guns.
Give half a chance,
Two bob heads up.
ANZAC graves emptied,
Their spirit's dried up.
Look all around you,
It's plain to your eyes.
A chance to vote taken,
Two houses as such.
One thing's for certain,
No longer denied.
Australians dear love
Their slavery too much.
